Have you ever noticed all the crazy names you call your pets sometimes? Maybe it’s just me, but I tend to use all kinds of silly terms of endearment much more often than I use Sadie’s actual name. Scientists say that the average dog can learn about 150 words. I feel like I’ve probably used up at least half of that with all of the silly names I call Sadie. Today I’ve decided to share a list of some of the nicknames I use for my dog.
Sadie Pooh
Sadie Lady
Doodle Bug (I hate bugs more than I can explain, so I have no idea why I sometimes think it’s cute to call my dog a bug)
Love Bug
Sadie Bug
Doodle Bear (Remember that toy? I used to love it as a kid and every time I call Sadie that the commercial jingle plays in my head)
Snickerdoodle
Yorkie Doodle
Poodle Poo
Yorkie Doodle Doo
Lovey
Lovey Dovey
Lovey Doodle
Schnoodle
Poodle Pie
Peanut
Peanuty Buddy
Munchkin (which is Sadie’s official middle name as it was the name the breeder called her)
Little One
Little Love
Little Baby
Little Miss
Missy Poo
Princess
Pupster
Puppup
Pups
Puppy Doodle
Sade
Sadesie
Doggie Doodle

What crazy names do you call your pets?
This post is also part of The Daily Post‘s weekly photo challenges. This week’s theme is Names.
Love it!! I call Dakota “Boda”, “Dakota Boda”, “Sheltie Boy”, “Neurotic One”, “Mr.Boda”, my husband calls him “Dakota Apollo” (where the Apollo came from I have no clue!) Some of the names I call him aren’t fit to print (depending on my mood BOL!!)
What a pretty! All of our babes have many aliases. They answer to every one, too.

Poodle Pie is my favorite. We call Max “Maxie boy” a lot. The two year old started it and it stuck.
