YourDesignerDogBlog: The Adventures of Sadie the Yorkipoo
The theme for this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life Challenge is neighbor. In these photos Sadie is keeping watch over our neighbors from her favorite vantage point – my bay window. I took these photos from the outside looking in, showing the way my neighbors love to see and wave to Sadie every day.

The theme for this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life Challenge is bokeh. At first I thought this word had something to do with polka dots or Bohemian style, but I decided to check the dictionary just to be sure. Turns out bokeh in photography is about creating a blurred background effect. Some bokeh photography looks absolutely amazing, but I haven’t quite perfected the skill yet. I did take the bokeh-looking background photo of my Christmas tree last year, but I had to Photoshop Sadie into it. Bokeh is definitely a style I plan on getting more practice with.

The theme for the 52 Snapshots of Life Challenge this week is pumpkin. With Halloween fast approaching I’ve been thinking about pumpkins a lot lately. My absolute favorite Halloween activity is carving a pumpkin. I’ve got quite a few stencils and books of patterns, so I’m trying to decide what design to make this year. I’m not particularly talented or anything, but I really enjoy creating some Halloween artwork. These photos show last year’s jack-o-lantern, which had a Sleepy Hollow / Headless Horseman theme.
