Today Sadie is joining the Monday Mischief blog hop. In this flashback photo we see the birth of one of Sadie’s favorite forms of mischief: tissue shredding. She has learned to snatch tissues out of pockets, out of the garbage, and will sometimes jump on top of you while you blow your nose and try to steal the tissue right out of your hand. She’s been known to stare at a box of tissues for hours at a time until I can’t withstand the puppy-dog eyes any longer and hand her a tissue to rip to shreds.

How funny! Does she get the toilet paper?
She’s never gone for the toilet paper when it’s on the roll, knock on wood. But she did get it once when it was waiting to be replaced. Check back on Mischief Mondays for the pictures from that incident.
Okay, my Patches does the same, but she only likes used snotty tissues. I’ve always figured it’s the saline. I’ve never seen her take a new tissue, though. Way to go, Sadie!

I’ve started spraying the bitter apple stuff in our wastebaskets to deter Mia’s tissue chewing, because Rob calls her “Toilet Paper Eater,” which I find a very unbecoming nickname for a lady.
Thanks for the tip! I recently bought a new bathroom garbage can and she hasn’t been able to get into it yet, but I’ll keep the bitter apple in mind if she finds a way to get in.
Sadie, you are like my Gman, he loves tissues and will eat anyone he can get.
