Happy Labor Day = Back to School

I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend! Sadie and I had a nice time with a barbecue and a visit with family. But today is Labor Day, which means start of the school year, give or take a week or two. Sadie is definitely ready for back to school, but there is one problem. Neither I nor Sadie actually go to school. Sadie decided to ignore that little detail and got dressed up with her new backpack anyway. So we played with some blocks and I tried to teach Sadie to spell back to school. After I took a few photos, Sadie got bored with the school idea and took a nap. I guess my little three year old pup is still a bit too young for school. Although she might enjoy some aspects of kindergarten like play time and snack time and nap time.

Do you have any school-aged children in your home? Are you or other members of your household teachers or work in a school in some other capacity? If the answer is yes, then that means your pets will now have to deal with separation from you or your family members. It’s tough on everyone, humans and pets alike, when you go from spending every day with someone during the Summer to potentially only seeing them at night during the school year. And when pets are bored or sad all day, they may cause some mischief to pass the time.
