April Fool&#8217;s!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s aquatic adventures actually involved a bath for my little one.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/?attachment_id=1296\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1296\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1296\" style=\"width: 491px; height: 441px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/sadiebath2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"dogs, designer dogs, yorkipoo, yorkie poo, cute, bath, bathtub\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/sadiebath2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/sadiebath2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/sadiebath2-620x465.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I always give Sadie a bath a few days before her flea \/ tick \/ heartworm medication is due. She does not enjoy a bath, but her protests are mostly limited to giving my sad pathetic puppy\u00a0eyes.<!--more--> What she really hates is the flea and tick medication. As soon as I apply it on her back she takes off running around the house like crazy trying to get it off of her. Then she ignores me\u00a0for the rest of the night as my punishment for doing something\u00a0as horrible as trying to keep her healthy. At least it&#8217;s only once a month.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder to all you pet parents who are on a beginning of the month schedule &#8211; it&#8217;s April 1st.
