This flashback photo was taken the first day I brought Sadie home. I put her very first collar on her (pink, of course ) and took this picture. Then I clipped her shiny new, pink rhinestone tags onto the collar and she promptly fell down. Apparently tags come in sizes. As Sadie is my first dog, I had no idea that tags come in small and large sizes. The larger size tags were just too heavy for my tiny pup to handle, and she could not keep her head up while wearing her new collar with the tags. I made a quick trip to the pet store that evening for appropriately sized pink rhinestone tags for my little princess.

In this flashback photo my adorable puppy Sadie was examining a new dog bed I had just bought for her. After I took this picture she hopped off the bed and ignored it completely for months. Just when I thought of getting rid of it, Sadie randomly jumped on it one day and realized it was comfortable. Now she absolutely loves it. Whenever we’re playing or running round the house, she uses this bed as her home base. If she gets tired or wants a break from me chasing her around, she’ll make a running leap onto this bed, clearly signaling a time out.

This flashback photo is one of my all-time favorite Sadie photos. In it my little puppy is all curled up, waiting patiently at my feet for me to finish my work. I love how her irresistible puppy eyes are looking up at me, asking if it’s time to go home and play yet.
