Today is National Cupcake Day in Canada. Even though Sadie and I are in the United States, we thought Canada’s National Cupcake Day was important enough to celebrate regardless of borders. First, who doesn’t love a good cupcake (or pupcake for our four-legged friends)? And second, National Cupcake Day was created as a fundraiser for the SPCAs and Humane Societies throughout Canada. All over the country, groups and individuals are hosting cupcake sales to benefit their local animal shelters. No matter which country you’re from, it’s always a great idea to help support those wonderful organizations and help animals in need.
