If you have a baby, pets will be given enough time to prepare and adjust to the child’s behavior. Baby explores the world and it is great if your pet is a part of it.

They like to get underfoot. 🙂 Thanks so much for joining the Barks and Bytes hop.

Mama and Papa are a bit nervous introducing me to kids because my last mommy told them a little kid played too rough with me once and I was never the same since. The baby doll might help me to get used to the idea of another little person around… at the moment I also tend to get a bit jealous, so this is a thing for us. We already do a regular paw massage for some of the reasons you mentioned, but we might incorporate the tail too now. Thanks! *wags*

Good advise. I’m a Big fellow (100 lbs)…but I’m good with kids. However, sometimes I accidentally knock people over. I just lean a wee bit and CRASH! But other than that, you can ride me, pull on me, hug me and kiss me.

The “knock over” bit causes me distress. When the more frail relatives visit, my Human makes me stay in my crate.
