In honor of Earth Day, Sadie and I took a lovely nature walk to enjoy the cherry blossoms. We stopped at some particularly picturesque spots to create some digital art that we’d like to share with you today! Hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy some of the beauty of nature today!

This week I am combining my Caturday art post with my entry for the Pet Photography Challenge. The challenge this week is doorways. In these photos Sadie is sitting in a revolving doorway in a beautiful old Art Deco-style hotel. I added a filter inspired by the Edvard Munch painting The Scream to get the surrealist effects.

Today I tried out a cubist filter on some photos for Sadie’s Caturday Art post. I thought it was interesting that the heart never changes, but Sadie herself is turned into all kind of different boxes and cubes. Also I think her little tongue in the second photo is especially cute and kind of looks like origami.
