It’s officially that time of year here in NJ when the sandals must be put away and the socks come out to stay. Sadie is pretty happy about this change in the weather, as you can see by the big grin on her face. She doesn’t actually enjoy wearing socks herself, although she humors me by keeping them on for a while. Sadie is actually smiling about the perfectly comfortable Fall temperatures. Since she’s always wearing a fur coat, it’s way too hot in Summer. But Sadie is a little sensitive to the cold and doesn’t like Winter temperatures too much either. So Fall is the best time of year for Sadie. While I’m mourning the loss of my sandals and grumbling about putting on socks all the time, Sadie is loving nature.

I love wearing socks. I wear them in the summer to keep my feet from getting to hot walking across the pavement and in the fall they are great to keep the mud out of my toes. You look so cute in your socks!

You are so cute in your socks! I love the cold weather and don’t like coats let alone socks. But Taffy was shivering when it got below freezing so she wears something. If I see mom coming at me with socks I am running! She threatens me with them all the time because of my paw licking/allergies. Love Dolly
